Loved the exhibition "The Dutch Masters & Aldo Bakker" at the Atelier Courbet, which I visited yesterday. In addition to the brilliant work of Aldo, it highlights the extent of fine craftsmanship exists in the Netherlands. Masters in wood, copper, silvers, lacquer, and ceramics are given the presence they deserve in this solo exhibition. I particularly found the Serving Series intriguing with original forms that come to serve daily functions in dining, but in an unexpected, yet brilliant way. These objects make you think differently about the aesthetics of the table.
