What I find striking about these interiors in a historical and former commercial space in Manhattan by Ghislaine Viñas, and David Hotson is the use of color crafted into a wholly-white space and its relationship to the volumes. Today, such deep bright colors, as presented here, pose challenges for those creative minds using them. Ghislaine Viñas has made her name with colorful interiors, which have already become her own signature style. But in this daring project, the four bedroom apartment was turned into a dramatic, stunning complexity of colors, metal represented in an enormous tubular steel slide plummets through four storeys inside this penthouse, and lot and lots of white.
