With the transformation of taste to modern and contemporary design and the death of the Oriental rugs, galleries have taken on the mission to produce modern rugs that would be a good fit to the new aesthetics we find in interiors today. Giustini / Stagetti Galleria O. Roma is opening a new exhibition of rugs and home textiles by textile designer, London-based Allegra Hicks, whose work has been noted for the stylized geometrical interpretation of natural motifs. The exhibition provides a great opportunity to see the juxtaposition of contemporary rugs with modern Italian furniture from the collection of the gallery.
