Design Loves Milano

I am pleased to promote this beautiful charity. Milan is the capital of design, and now, when it suffers that much under COVID-19, designers are coming together to help their beloved city.

Design Loved Milano‘ is a fundraising auction, which will be taking place online on May 12th, conducted by Milan-based auction house Cambi. This event comes to support the local hospital Ospedale Luigi Sacco, which has been severely hit by the pandemic. Curated by creative agency Mr Lawrence, the auction will bring together an impressive roster of Italian and international designers, who will each contribute with a donation of one of their unique or limited edition pieces. Among the participating designers to this amazing effort are Fernando and Humberto Campana, Formafantasma, Roberto Sironi, Muller Van Severen, and many more.

Here is a rare opportunity to purchase a collectible design piece, and at the same time to help Ospedale Sacco with funds, which will be utilized to the purchase of equipment and services to sustain local research groups in the development of a vaccine to stop the spreading of Covid-19. The catalog will be available online on April 23rd at Cambi.
