In the summer, I cannot live without my Canfora sandals, and I have about twenty pairs. The legendary boutique on the island of Capri was founded in 1946 by Amedeo in a tiny shop which has produced handcrafted, colorful, splendid, and stylish sandals ever since. They are always decorated with exquisite pieces of costume jewelry and they are timeless. Amedeo became known internationally when Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis had discovered the sandals in one of her visits to Capri, and made them her favorites. Today, Constanzo, Amedeo’s grandson manages the boutique and keep introducing new patterns every year. I loved visiting the tiny shop on the island of Capri, and cannot live without Canfora in the summer.
